Spring Semester

Spring semester is going to come in about a week and a half. I have four classes and a part time job to handle beside my family. I choose three tools that I think they are going to help me out this semester. They are a flexible schedule, a to do list, and a planner. Having a schedule is a good way to manage time, but a flexible schedule is a more effective way to manage time and to get things done without getting stress from distraction. My flexible schedule is written down on a small white board that I hang it next to my fridge. It is easy to move activities around. For instance, the schedule is planned to do homework on Saturday morning, unfortunately on that Saturday morning I have to take my car to a mechanic. So I have to change the time to do homework to another time before its due that. I can cancel to go out with friends and replace it by doing homework or I can go out with friends, but I just have to come back earlier to finish what should have been done for that day. It is better to move thing around than to do it with stress or not do it at all. Therefore, flexibility is very important. To go along with the flexible schedule, I should have a to do list because that way I can write down what I have to do for a day include entertainment time. Moreover, I can prioritize the list and know what I have to do first. Then I move that priority thing to my flexible schedule at the first available time. That list I have to put it where I can see it most of the time. It doesn't have to be neat. I just need to jot down what I have to complete and new idea that come up to my head. A to do list is a good list considerately to remove idea from my head to a paper so that I won't let ideas in my head fly away. Last thing is a planner. It is a formal schedule. I have to write down every thing that need to be done on the exact date like doctor appointment, exam date, homework due date, and so on. I am going to take it with me wherever I go so that I have enough reason to open it and say no to rapid activities. It should help me, who have a hard time to say no to other people, a big deal. Finally, every thing is prepared and organized. At home I have my flexible schedule and to do list. Outside the house I have my planner. All these tools are things that help to push me to get into a neat and organized zone with a realistic goal for this semester.
Trying is a learning process. Rysellia
